Lime-green, dangling clusters of fragrant, papery flowers in late summer that are a very popular for use in brewing, giving a heavy herbal aroma. Serrated, dark green leaves on a twining, vigorous vine which needs a very tall support; also useful for ornamental screening. A strong perennial that dies back completely to the ground in late fall. Attracts butterflies; deer resistant.
