Botanical Eco Printing

1 PM – 3:30 PM
Taught by Anne Berman

Eco printing is the natural dye technique of transferring colorful evocations of botanicals onto paper and fabric. In this workshop, you will learn how to steam bundles of paper and silk that are layered with flowers, leaves, and natural dyes. Each layer of natural materials creates a different color combination, so each piece is unique. All supplies are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own plant clippings to include in the process. Workshop is limited to 6 participants.

Our first priority is maintaining a safe environment for our students and instructors. The following steps will be taken to ensure your experience is fun, inspiring, and safe:

  • Per The City of St. Louis guidelines, everyone must wear a mask while inside The Studio.
  • The Studio surfaces and supplies will be disinfected before and after every workshop.
  • If you are not feeling well, please reach out to Anne Berman at 314-454-6868 or events@bowoodfarms.com.
  • If you are interested in joining the waitlist for a class, please email Anne at events@bowoodfarms.com.
