Perennial Maintenance Class: Cutting Back

2 PM – 3 PM
Taught by Kathie Hoyer

The first in our year-long maintenance series, this class focuses on cutting back and will give you guidance in how to time your spring pruning tasks. We’ll untangle the catch-all phrase “late winter to early spring” so you’ll be confident that your plants will start off the new growing season with a fresh, well-groomed look. Later classes in this series will explore waking up your garden in spring, the Chelsea chop, dividing and transplanting perennials, and putting your garden to bed in fall. There will be question and answer opportunities at the end of each class.
