Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique that involves folding, twisting, binding or bunching cloth and dyeing it with indigo. Each student will receive two yards of fabric to dye- that can be made into napkins, a table runner, tea towels or a pillow cover … the possibilities are endless! You will be able to allow your creativity to flow to produce a one of a kind product. This workshop involves the use of indigo dye and is held outside, please dress accordingly in old clothing that may be stained. Workshop is limited to 6 participants. Shibori Dyeing classes will meet inside of Bowood. We will walk over to the field together 5 minutes before class begins.
