Artist Robin Haugen of neonrobin.com loves creating symbolic illustrations combined with a personal narrative and has developed this workshop to help others do the same. Attendees will bring in a physical item or a picture that embodies a story to capture and preserve (e.g., a family heirloom or a photograph from an event or vacation.) With Robin’s guidance, students will produce a thoughtful piece of art by sketching a visual and putting words to paper in your own handwriting. The resulting creations can be framed back-to-back to create a pressed memory.
