In this beginner’s level block-printing workshop, artist Emily Choi will lead students in creating a set of ten 5x7 prints on premium paper. You will explore the fundamentals of block printing including how to transfer an image, the importance of positive and negative space, and ways to create depth and texture on a linoleum block. All supplies are included, and you will go home with your set of prints as well as your block to use for future carving projects.
