Large trusses of lilac-rose blossoms are followed by glossy magenta seedpods. Burgundy stems and purple-tinged leaves add a tropical feel to this fast-growing, heirloom vine that provides lush growth as it twines over any trellis, arbor or fence. Attracts hummingbirds. Caution: mature, dried seeds are toxic unless boiled twice. Lablab purpureus
