Small, carmine-pink flowers with ruby-red eyes bloom from April to May. Starry chartreuse foliage spreads quickly, forming a lovely carpet impervious to weeds. For best groundcover use, do not mulch and shear back in early summer after flowering to increase density. Attracts butterflies; deer resistant.
